Jeakins family take over the reigns on Lianne Coaches
May 2016 saw the Jeakins family take over the reigns of Lianne Coaches from its founder, John Dickson. Lianne is a well respected coach operator serving many different clients in the Royal Berkshire area. When John decided it was time to retire after 40 years at the helm, he approached the Jeakins family to continue the Lianne name on the road.
The deal included part of the current Lianne fleet, with new vehicles being added shortly after. All full time driving staff were welcomed in the transfer as are all of the loyal Lianne clients. The company will remain a stand alone business serving the same area, with the help of the Jeakins fleet during periods. Business will remain very much as usual.
The original office will move to the Jeakins Thorpe depot as will all the engineering operations, but Lianne’s number (01753 52 9441) will continue for all future bookings and enquiries along with a new email address mailbox@lianne.uk.com
